DL, Elijah Conliffe Hampton High School, Hampton, VA. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Gators have been hot on the pursuit of a talented player out of Hampton, Virginia, Elijah Conliffe. Conliffe grew up in Virginia watching his favorite teams (USC, Colts) on TV.

Fast forward to today, Conliffe is a highly sought after recruit and will be making his decision on which school he will be playing ball at tomorrow.

Conliffe, didn’t grow up playing football like the majority of the recruits we speak with. Conliffe started out playing basketball. “I think basketball is what really got me into playing football,” Conliffe said. “I was good at basketball but never really good at football til the 8th grade, before then I was some buns.”

And boy was that a good decision for Conliffe. Conliffe quickly became a star on his team showing his abilities in each game. Conliffe is big at 6’4 305 pounds but has a quick burst.

Conliffe tries to play the game like his favorite player JJ Watt, and on film it definitely shows. That is why teams like Florida, Tennessee, Louisville and Penn State are actively recruiting his talents.

Conliffe is set to make his decision of these schools tomorrow. “I have it narrowed down to Louisville, Penn State, Florida and Tennssee right now in no specific order,” Conliffe said. Conliffe said that the three teams coming after him the hardest right now is Penn St., Tennessee and Florida.

We asked Conliffe what exactly is going to go into his final decision on choosing where he is going to commit to. “I think that a relationship with the Coaches play a big part of the process,” Conliffe said. “But I also want to attend a school where I can get a good education.”

Conliffe plans to study Civil Engineering at whatever school he ends up choosing tomorrow.

Regardless of where Conliffe ends up, the one thing we gathered from this sit down, was that he is very intelligent, mannered and a hard worker. Conliffe will be able to bring a lot of talent but it’s the intelligence, his work ethic and manners that will make him great.

We look forward to Conliffe’s announcement tomorrow, and are thankful that he took the time to sit down with us for this Spotlight interview.
