Jaycee Horn, son of former four time NFL Pro Bowler Joe Horn, is a 6’1 175 lb defensive back from Alphareeta, Georgia. Horn plays ball at Alpharetta High School where he recorded seven interceptions and 25 pass breakups last year. Horn is everything you want in a defensive back, great size, physical and flips his hips well. This kid’s the real deal and the Gators have finally given him an offer to join #DBU.

Horn grew up a fan of the game of football. He would often go to his dad’s football games or even watch his brother Joe Horn Jr. play. But Horn was focused on basketball at first, not playing High school football til his Junior season. In his first season as a High school player, Horn has made an immediate impact and college’s from across the country have taken notice.

Horn currently has 40 offers from some of the nation’s most elite teams, though his number of offers seem to increase daily.

“I got 40 offers right now and just feel really blessed to be where I am at right now,” Horn said. “I think some offers stand out you know like Florida, Alabama, Ohio St., Auburn, South Carolina, LSU, I like them all a lot.”

Though Horn currently holds 40 of the best offers college football has to offer, he is still hungry for a few others.

” I would like some offers from the west coast teams like UCLA or USC,” Horn said. “I would also like to get offered by FSU.”

Horn has terrific ball skills and is extremely physical at the line. Horn really knows how to use his hands and length to his advantage when battling off the line or covering a receiver. I think of him as a quicker Quincy Wilson.

Horn wants to make sure whichever school he decides to play for that he has built a solid relationship with the coaches.

“It’s really important to me to go to a place that I am wanted,” Horn said. “I have to have a good relationship with the coaches, that’s something my dad keeps telling me and something I want.”

This is something the Gator coaches can work on when Horn visits the Swamp March 18.

Horn has said that the recruiting process has been the highlight of his High school career so far.

“The recruiting process I am going through right now is something I have always dreamed about,” Horn said. “I dreamed of getting offers to big schools like Alabama and Florida and just the other day I was in Coach Saban’s office, it’s a blessing.”

Horn is a leader on and off the field and classroom. He is always the first one in and last one out and it’s his motivation that gets him better each day. Any team will be lucky to have him at their University.

We want to thank Horn for taking the time to sit down with us and wish him the best of luck on his recruitment. All of us at Gator Nation would like you to know though, there is only one #DBU.
